Hello! Welcome to my page!
My name is Cecilia. I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. I came to Canada in 1998.
When I was a little girl my mama and I went to the farmer's market every Saturday. I loved going there. When I think about it I can still see the images and smell the fresh fruits and vegetables. In the summer we were making jams, tomato sauce, pickles, etc. for the winter. Back then, especially in Europe, we did not have to worry about GMOs and pesticides. All fruits and vegetables were organic and animals were pasture raised and free range. We were healthy and strong. Growing up my dream was to study medicine and to become a pediatric surgeon, Unfortunately after the early passing of my father my plans had to be changed. I became an esthetician and I have been working with people helping them look beautiful for over 20 years.
After immigrating to Canada I missed the farmers markets. I felt out of place. Going to the grocery store was different. All produce looked beautiful but tasted and smelled nothing like at home. The first 5 years were hard, I worked a lot and didn't have time to pay attention to the quality of the ingredients I was cooking from. Eventually health issued started to affect my quality of life. I did not understand why, I was making home cooked meals, we hardly ate junk food or fast food. So my learning journey and research started. I realized that nutritionally food was just not the same like before and I learned the benefits of eating organic, fresh produce. After cleaning up our diet and introducing good quality supplements I started feeling better and my health issues went away.
In 2014 I decided that its was time for me to get a formal education in nutrition and a year later I enrolled into the Natural Nutrition program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. I graduated in 2016.
Cecilia graduated from esthetics vocational school in 1997 in her native Hungary where she received two years extensive training in Biology, Dermatology and Chemistry, and completed practicums along with theoretical studies.
