Steps to Getting Started

  1. Schedule your initial consultation with me.

  2. Fill out the Personal Health Information / Goal sheet

  3. Get Your Lab Work Done (you will be given the blood requisition form by me personally or by email, please fill in the appropriate information on areas marked “*” NO FOOD for 12 hrs. prior! )

  4. I will contact you once your Metabolic Balance® Program is available ( usually within ONE week ).

  5. Book your next consultation with me (To go over your program with you).

  6. Go grocery shopping based on your personalized “shopping list” as outlined on your program and also purchase a food scale  (Home Outfitters / Winners etc…).

  7. Begin Phase 1 (Preparation Phase which includes a Two Day cleansing diet and bowel detox).

  8. Start Phase 2 (Strict Phase where the most dramatic changes will occur in weight loss and body repair processes).

  9. After 2 weeks of  Phase 2 book your third consultation with me to monitor your progress ( blood pressure, body fat and other measurements may be taken to assess your healthy changes ).

  10. Move to Phase 3 (Relaxed Phase) or continue with some modifications to Phase 2 to achieve further weight loss and health restoration.

  11. After 2 - 4 weeks book your fourth consultation with me to again review your progress and to determine if you can move on to the self directed Phase 4 (Maintenance Phase or to remain in Phase 2 , 3).

  12. By now you will have developed your own natural “feel” and awareness of which foods provide YOUR body and mind with health and which ones do not. Please note that supportive emails or phone calls to me are at NO CHARGE during any Phase of your Program!

  13. Length of Phases 2 and 3 vary depending on the personal health conditions or amount of weight loss desired (additional 1-2 individual coaching sessions may be needed to aid in achieving your goals. There is NO CHARGE for these extra 2 sessions within the first 3 months of the program ).

  14. If at anytime you “fall off the wagon” and revert back to your old habits and regain the weight and /or your health problems return you can contact me by phone for guidance. You can go back and revisit your exact same plan. There are NO additional Start up FEES for you to simply restart your own self guided plan. Additional blood work and One on One Coaching would incur extra costs.

I was missing the right balance

What made you try Metabolic Balance®?

Before Metabolic Balance I did a lot of sport to regulate my weight. During that time, I changed my family doctor and by doing so coincidentally met my future coach. He made me realize that through sport alone, I was not going to be able to reach my goals. I ate quite healthily, but not optimally for my metabolism. This is really the way I got to know Metabolic Balance®.

How did you feel before Metabolic Balance®?

I didn't have any health problems, but I felt stuck in a vicious circle regarding nutrition and sports. In order to lose weight, I did more and more sport. The more active I became, the more food my body craved. I was missing the right balance.

Why Metabolic Balance®?

I liked the idea of just eating the foods that were right for my body. The individual nutrition plan convinced me. At the same time, the precise guidelines were perfect for me. I wanted to learn how to eat the right foods in the right amounts, before feeling confident enough to move onto a more 'freestyle-nutrition'.

How did you find the programme?

In the first week I could really feel the detoxification. I had headaches, but I endured them as I knew why I was doing this. After that week, I felt clean and light. I still like to stick to my nutrition plan even in the maintenance phase. Even though I enjoy a 'treat-meal' from time to time, I do not really feel as good the next day. If I eat according to my plan, I feel a lot better.

What is the biggest change since starting Metabolic Balance®?

I didn't just succeed in maintaining my body weight with Metabolic Balance®, but I also quit smoking at the same time. Furthermore, I am more aware of the required amount of food for my body and eating in excess has come to an end.
